Made with sycamore wood, this personal-size tray is inlaid with hand-crushed mussel shell in the rim. The tray sits slightly elevated off the table due to a delicate foot. This creates the illusion of floating off the surface while also aiding in picking it up. The outside of the wall is coved while the inside tapers toward the center.
The exterior of the tray measures about 7” by 1” and it is finished with food-safe linseed oil and beeswax.
