Beautiful yet useful bowl made from cedar. Cedar, best known for pencils, clothes chests, and closets, also makes for very nice bowls. It has a fabulous grain with a few knots which add character to the bowl.
An aromatic wood, it is notably soft and light. While I don’t recommend that this bowl be put to heavy use, you can still put it to work holding snacks, remotes, keys, jewelry, etc. Anything wet might pick up flavor from the cedar.
Of course, it will also make a lovely display piece, one that is sure to draw attention. It will also be appreciated as a gift.
