I have one that I use several times a week. Once in a while when I want to spiff it up, I wipe on a little food-safe oil, let it soak in for a few minutes, then buff it off. Looks like new! But, frankly, I think it looks good without the oil, it develops a beautiful patina the more that you use it.
Each plate about 7-1/2” square and sits about 1/2” high. It may not look like it in the photos, but the the plates are square.
Of course, as with any wooden object, do not put in the dishwasher, do heat it (no oven nor microwave), and do not leave it sitting in water. With a minimum of care, they should last a long time.
