Twig pots

A selection of twig pots.  Twig pots, also known as weed pots, are intended to display one or two small cuttings of flowers, leaves, or twigs.  They cheer up a table, side table, and especially the windowsill over the kitchen sink.   Singly or in groups, they bring a little bit of nature and beauty indoors.  Collect the cuttings from your own garden, or while out walking.  Mix and match the different species of wood as well as the different sizes.

Following in the spirit of the Japanese tradition of kintsugi, a few of the pots which had splits have been filled with powdered brass or turquoise.  Rather than conceal the split, kintsugi celebrates and highlights it, embracing the flaws and imperfections.

These pots make great gifts, including for yourself!  

The pots are finished with a food-safe natural oil.  They are not designed to be filled with water.

Sizes range from about 2" high to 6".  Custom orders welcome.
