Closed-form cherry bowl

A lovely form of a bowl made from cherry.  This bowl is too beautiful to call a pot, but it certainly has the form as seen in vessels from many ancient civilizations. And I must confess that is the source of my inspiration.

This bowl can be used simply as a decorative piece and would look wonderful on a bookshelf, a mantle or a dresser.  It can also be put to work holding jewelry, coins, candy, sugar, or knickknacks.

It would also make amuch appreciated gift.

It measures 4" by 2-1/2".  It is finished with food-safe linseed oil and beeswax which lend it a satiny touch.
